After a week of roaming around in awful clothes lol........reading the forums, etc........I have a few questions...

1.  Is the purpose of OL to be free to imagine and create and avoid handcuffing people like SL has by banning certain businesses?

2.  Will mature content be allowed?

3. On a mainland - founders region - what is allowed or not allowed?

Is there anywhere in the forum that explains the answers to my questions?

Well, back to topic, the OLG is a  PG or 15+ grid, whatever those prude americans understand under this classification. A forum search for those terms should help with your question, we discussed this before.

As far as i understand, as a short summary, no nudity and no sexuality in public spaces... an under-18 could see it and ruin his/her emotional life....

Hey Howard! Belated welcome to OpenLife and the forums. :) I will try to answer these questions as to the best of my knowledge. My answers are from speaking with Gitfinger about some of these I wondered myself about. If you ever have questions like these you can always join the chatroom and ask. There is usually someone in there that if not AFK will have the answers and help you.

OpenLife allows you creativity. It is a 15+ grid (PG is not really the term for it as Sakai explained to me). As for businesses being banned I am told Gambling and Banks will not be allowed.

Yes, but not in the open. In other words you should not run around naked or cybering in openchat or in the open for others to see. Your home/skybox is considered "private" and you can think of it in the same terms as real life. What is not acceptable on the public streets is not acceptable in OpenLife.

Not so sure what you have in mind here. If it is not covered in my explaination above then you may want to contact someone in chat to ask for specifics.

I looked and don't see anything specific to your questions unless they are buried in threads that do not seem to focus on that specific direction. I got one here that deals with OpenLife and one that speculates on the entire OpenSim/RealXTend idea. Interesting reading if nothing else. :) I am sure as the world grows some things may evolve but as things sit now I have explained to you I believe how it was explained to me.  Take care and have fun.
