I cannot create objects in Standalone sim 

I have run both the OLRR r4314 and the 3DXStudio and I cannot create objects in either one.  I can upload terrain, clothing, skins, etc.  I have checked my settings against others who have posted and they seem to all be right.  This is my second request.  Anyone?  Please help.  Thanks.
