I have been able to import a water script, at it actually works....but... when i relog, i find that the script is missing??? So every time i relog, i have to put the script back into the water prims.... is there anyway to fix this?

Abby, there's still much instability with scripts right now. One issue is prim inventory persistence, as mentioned in this article at opensimulator.org. While the stated version of OLG is 3538, some of the issues are similar to those reported in earlier versions.
