stable? i see a early beta
Hi, why you call it stable? I run the Lanuncher.exe and can login. (ok that is stable)
I try to rez a new prim ---> server crashes
I try to change the Avatar or Prim-Bonus factor ---> server crashed

The FAQ and the Forum not showing a solution of the Error.
Framework 3.5 is installed on Winxp SP3

Dont worry next try it would be better.

At this time you cannot provide 50% of the stability of SL... On openlife grid the same: Long "busy" times of the server LAG LAG LAG ;)

Re: stable? i see a early beta

I have no problem running 9 regions with the standalone v5.5 available on the opensim website. Building, landscaping, changing terrain textures, even logging in from another pc on my home network.

This Openlife grid is in alpha stage, it's not a hidden fact, it's on this page: http://openlifegrid.com/VirtualLand/tabid/63/Default.aspx

Most of us are here to help develop Openlife Grid, and we know that it is alpha. We accept the bugs and unstability as being a normal part of evolution. If you can't tolerate bugs and setbacks then this is not the place for you.

But if you are willing to help, if only in testing the grid, then you are welcome.

It is not even beta my friend. It is ALPHA. it means... instability, high risk of loosing things, etc and that's why I'm here: help to test. But a lot of people don't know it is alpha and get frustrated expecting to have the same experience they have on SL.

I've posted a note here at this forum to make it VERY CLEAR at the HOME page. However Sakai and some people here think it's enough to have just a note on the own virtual land page...

if it's not a hidden fact put in the home page or at the registration page. Do OpenLife guys want users to think  "Hey, I don't want land but let me take a look at own virtual page... Oh it's alpha!"?

Not really sure where your coming from RoGe?

The standalone is raw yes as they are updated a lot and you can try a latest build from opensim

The FAQ and the Forum not showing a solution of the Error.
Framework 3.5 is installed on Winxp SP3

What Error?

I know plenty that are running that setup Framework 3.5 is installed on Winxp SP3
and standalones are running fine so can you Clarify ?

At this time you cannot provide 50% of the stability of SL...

are you serious we’ve been going 7 months 5 to region holders and we get a lot more than 50% stability than sl were Alpha yes and a bit lumpy here and there but were forging forward everyday every week

Openlife grid the same: Long "busy" times of the server LAG LAG LAG ;)

The one thing I can say here is no lag as such I lag on SL on 70% of there regions not that i care they have there issues like any other

I really think before you state something find out the real facts and tbh I am not sure where your coming form at all with these comments come to chat and ask is you have an issue always someone there to help ask me direct if you wish maybe you just can't grasp the basics properly no problem we will help if we can
Now go ask a Linden for the same help and compare responses :)
