I must say that I am not very fond of the standard SecondLife viewer, I would like to use something else, perhaps the recommended viewer, but I don't see a download for Mac OS X. Will there ever be a Mac OSX version available? if yes, when?
I also run a Mac and own a region here. I am told that Mac viewers are in the plan. Meanwhile, I use the Nicholaz patches, made available for Mac users by "Barney Boomslang" at: http://radio-boomslang.shacknet.nu/~bb/articles/nicholaz-edition-mac/ Another alternative is Barney's Mac version of the "Cool Viewer" patches: http://radio-boomslang.shacknet.nu/~bb/articles/cool-viewer-mac/. I'm running a fairly low-end MacBook, and the Nicholaz version works very well.
I have not gotten any firm answers on when a made-for-OLG Mac viewer will be available, and I wouldn't mind some feedback on that myself.
