101 questions about Standalones/OL (alpha stage newbie) 

Hello! So bowing low to forum fellow users, my questions would be:

-Do standalones appear as "Regions" (or islands) in OL, let's say on the map?

-If not, what are they and where are they to appear?

-Can I personnally have Regions and set up a Standalone as well? (And would that be something interesting? or pure redundancy, or too much work, etc..)

well to answer the question as of where they appear in OL they dont a standalone is basically your own personal region(s) set up on your pc or lan and for the regular joe or jane is a great place to learn C# programming or teamed up with second inventory is a great personal sandbox real easy to set up and connect to bt alot of things do not work however if you are like me then it opens pandora's box and makes you drink alot of coffee and log alot of hours learning the programming and creatng new programs to make it better i have personally took the r4314 avail here and made it scaleable to what OLG was in alpha testing but if you are looking to connect to OLG then no that is not avail. contact me in world and i can go in more depth with that my avatar is Trucker Anthony on all grids hope that helps

Thanks a lot for the info! So a standalone is of the parallel kind..No way to connect it to OL world. Though it sounds very interesting as a way to learn and experiment the deeps about virtual worlds... In the roots. Very clear. Thanks again! See you inworld indeed **
