Well, Neo Atomica made a big move from its original location to one on the west coast of the mainland. There were a number of issues as a result of something to do with physics and trying to fix at the time was much more complex and difficult than moving.
Now, Neo Atomica is sort of settled in with some nice development on the shore where I've placed a couple of Japanese buildings, a system of docks/piers along with a "vending" area on a part of that. In actuality, the vending area is a distribution area for the objects that I've created and offer to the community. Have a look.
There is also a nice house up on the cliff that is patterned after a picture of a graphic of one of my favorite 3d artists. He's an architect that does some amazing environments and I've adapted something he did to OpenLife. There's probably more tweaking to do in there but you can feel free to go in and have a good look around. Perhaps it will be an inspiration to you as well.
Over a little bit is a tower of apartments I'm kinda working on. Originally I had a vision of a "keep" overlooking the "ocean". The idea behind that was to alert the residents to any assault by sea. Oh well.
At the very top, where the land is flatter, is the main store. In there you'll find as many texture vendors as I've placed where you can copy, get or whatever. If you want to avoid cluttering your inventory then browse through the vendors and "get" only the textures you want. In the center of the main floor, there are some displays where eventually the little gadgets and objects I create will be displayed. Under the stairs you'll see some larger pieces. Help yourself to copies.
Outside the store is an experiment of a building I saw somewhere else. I don't know what to think of it. I get so far with some ideas and the creative constipation sets in.
Well, I guess I've said enough for now. Please let this be an open invitation to visit Neo Atomica and copy whatever you find there.
Comments welcomed as always.
