Finally a blog thingy to fill in with my adventures in OL. Im new to blogging so I'll be slowly working my way through it.
Current experiments: Trying to find my boundrys in OL with scripts, builds, the occasional crash or two, playing with standalone so I can see how the back end of OL meshes together the poking it with a fork to see what happens. O.o
I have met some very nice folks in OL so far all willing to help or be helped.. Its all new ish for the residents , learning what the differences are from other grids and working around those limitations. Things Im used to doing over the last year are now a challenge again so I have to use a little artistic licence with what I construst in world.
Much to Sakai dismay ( sorry mate) Im trying to make scripts work that are possibly not enabled so far. the result is the Gods of the bandwidth kick my sorry arse back to RL with a Do not pass go , do not collect 100 Sakai $. Ahhh but all fun.
Im glad streaming is working and you will find a list of channels on the forum for your listening pleasure while building. I intend to have a major dance place on one island spur with a "quite" island in the middle covered with trees. eventually I will raise a sky platform at about 400 for building and leave the view below looking better with out bits of prims strun about.
Houses: I never used my house in SL after about 6 months so took it and its 500 prims back into inventory. Funny but I find my self once again building a house in OL.. perhaps I feel I want to put my roots down here.
As most thing in a VR environment, when I get bored with the builds I can wipe and start again at minimal cost apart from time.

I am currently making Founder T-shirtsas I meet you for your region. There not offical just a quick job one night between crashes. Perhaps I will spend some time one weekend making a flash shirt or Jacket that will really suit the place.
