I started some landscaping, a nice change from construction.

For the complex pattern of the railing, I use an old trick to gove the appearance of 3D. Several flat prims slightly offset, one behind the other, with the same texture on them.

nice work. I've been constantly impressed by your persistence and patience while building such a complex structure. Congratulations It'll be quite exciting when finished!

Thank you Sakai. Persistence comes from the fact that is derive the same feelings from doing this as if I was building a sailboat in a bottle. I don't enjoy building by just stacking boxes and slapping textures on them and call that a house. The more details I manage to place, the more realistic the project becomes. That's why also I take models from the real world. It takes a powerful imagination to create a believable building from scratch. But building a replica of a beautiful real house, respecting all details and scale, and make it available for visitors to appreciate is what I like best.
